Support

StillSuite Floor is the app the head distiller and the floor use to record their work at the barrel, the tank or the line. This page says how to connect it to your distillery's StillReporting, where to get help, and answers the questions people ask most.

Get set up

4 steps

Floor records into your distillery's StillReporting, so it needs a setup code from there before it can record anything.

  1. 1

    Get a setup code

In StillReporting, open Settings, then Mobile access, and add a device. Floor is on the code for owners, compliance managers, production leads, warehouse operators and bottling leads. If you can't open StillReporting, ask an owner at your distillery to do it for you.

  2. 2

Open Floor on your iPhone or iPad

    Go to Settings, then StillSuite.

  3. 3

    Scan or paste the code

Tap Scan setup code and point the camera at the code on screen, or Paste setup code if you copied it on the device. There are no addresses or keys to type. One code works in every StillSuite app your role includes.

  4. 4

    Check the card

The card at the top of Settings says Connected to StillSuite. Shift fills in with today's work, and Capture lists the forms your role may use. From now on your entries sync on their own whenever the app is open.

Look in Queue

Every entry StillReporting hasn't confirmed is in Queue, with what it's waiting on, or StillReporting's reason if it was refused. Most questions about a missing entry are answered there.

Ask your distillery

Your role, the lots and tanks, and the records in StillReporting belong to your distillery. Ask an owner there about access and about correcting a record.

Questions

Does Floor work without signal?

Yes. Every entry is saved on the device first and goes to StillReporting when there's signal. The lots, tanks and runs you pick from are kept on the device too, so the forms work out in the warehouse.

Floor syncs when it opens, right after you save an entry, and every five minutes while it's open. To sync right away, pull down on Shift or Queue, or open Settings, then StillSuite, and tap Sync now.

Why don't I see every form?

Capture shows only the forms your role allows. Floor reads your roles from StillReporting on every sync, so a change an owner makes on the web reaches the app at its next sync.

What does "Waiting" mean in Queue?

StillReporting hasn't confirmed the entry yet, and Queue says why: no signal yet, your distillery's plan is read-only, or the Floor app is turned off in StillReporting, for example. A waiting entry goes again on the next sync by itself.

An entry was refused. What now?

StillReporting checked it with the same rules as the web and didn't record it. Queue shows its reason. Fix what the reason says and record it again, then discard the refused one in Queue. A refusal you discard goes from your other devices at their next sync.

What can the camera scan?

The setup code, and the tag on a barrel or tank: QR codes and the common barcodes. If a tag won't scan, type it in the list instead. Floor reads the code and keeps no picture.

Do my iPhone and iPad show the same entries?

Yes, when both are set up with your own setup codes. What you send from one shows on the other under Queue, then Sent, after its next sync, and a refusal shows on both.

The app says Disconnected. What now?

Your distillery removed this device in StillReporting, or your access was turned off. Your entries are still on the device. Get a new setup code from StillReporting (Settings, then Mobile access) and scan it in Floor under Settings, then StillSuite. Entries that were waiting go once you're connected again.

Can two people use one device?

One at a time. The device records as whoever set it up last. When someone else scans their code, Floor says so first, and the earlier person's unsent entries are held: Queue shows them, and they go only if that person sets the device up again. They can also be discarded.

How do I remove my data from the device?

Disconnect this device, under Settings, then StillSuite, stops syncing and removes the device's key. Your entries stay on the device. Deleting the app removes its database. Sent entries are cleared from the device after 30 days on their own.

Entries already in StillReporting are your distillery's production records and stay there. Ask your distillery about those.
